how to decorate this ring base?

hi everyone,
i've just create this ring base out of a broken button and some wire..
how would you decorate it?
i'd like this to be a big statement ring.
any suggestion would be very appreciated!

you could make a huge rick rack ring, or get a huge cab, maybesome beads

Like Michelle said, a huge cabochon! Or alternately, a big rhinestone. If you use thick enough glue or epoxy, you can even attach things to the outer rim of it.

You could look at one of the many tutorials on CO+K for fabric roses, and make one of those! I think that'd be beautiful! :3

maybe resin casting or collaging materials into it and making a chabby chic bling ring, using a large cabachon, old brooches, anything that suits your style x
