wedding gift?

my sister is getting married soon and i need to think of a gift for her shower and for her wedding. i want to make it personal. Possible something i can make. do y'all have any ideas about what i can make/or buy that will be fun and creative?

Perhaps you could make her a cute tote. Then fill it with some of her favorite things. (her favorite bath soaps or even cute sleepwear/lingerie)

it may seem old fashioned but have you thought about making her something personal for her new life and home together? such as needle point pillow cases with something like "mrs." on one and "mr." on the other or something else that might be just as meaningful/personal. you can needlepoint almost anything to make it personal from pillow cases to a table cloth, table runner, or placemats. or make a quilt for the new life she is starting.

You could make her a matching kitchen set, with washcloths, hot pads and towels. Some people crochet or knit them, and some people just buy the material and sew them. I got two sets from my aunt for my wedding gift (almost 4yrs ago) and I love them! They are the best. Also I think the pillow case is a cool idea. My husbands grandmother embroidered some pillowcases for us, It was just on plain white cases and it had a cherries and some design around it, It looked vintage, but I think she did it on her machine. Either way I really love them too. They dont match our bed set anymore, but I use them in the guest room, because I liked them so much!
