Make a Project! Win some Coffee!

Hey you, yes you! Do you want to win some gormet Hawaiian Coffee?

Here is the deal... Everytime I buy coffee they come with these little brass clips. They are starting to pile up...lol. I use them to clip close food bags and such.

But they're sooo boring! I've tried drilling holes in them, so I could put them on lanyards. The metal is too tough though. Also they have little teeth on them. I'm clueless for ideas of what to do with these.

So I thought it would be cool to have a mini contest. Whats in it for you, you ask? Well how about some amazingly awesome Hawaiian Coffee? If I like your project/idea best I'll mail you a bag!

How about some of those clip photo holders. Like this....

Or maybe make a clay base in different shapes/objects that relate to the picture you want to put in it and have the wire coming up out of that. Could make something cute to glue to the ouside of the clips to cover them. Oh or you could even cover them and add a magnet to the back and hang them on the refrigerator. Might have to put some hot glue over the teeth so it doesn't rip the pictures.

Ooh, you could use the clips to make a rotating gallery for your home.
Just find a blank area of wall and figure out what you will be displaying. Ex. photographs, kids artwork, prints, postcards.. then Stretch ribbon or thin board across the space and nail up. If using ribbon just pinch both the ribbon and print and voila it's hung. If using the board superglue the clips to the board spaced as you desire. Happy
You will be able to change out the pictures as you wish and it looks cool.

I actually had clips similar to these. I took a piece of cardboard, a sticker, hot glue, and clear tape to make them into little button-type things. You take the cardboard and cut it down to the size of the sticker and put the sticker on it. Then you cut the piece of tape bigger then the cardboard and put the tape over the sticker and cardboard for a "clear coat finish." Hot glue the clip to the back and clip it to bags, you pockets or even use them as a cute way to hold papers together.

Thought of another idea, why not make tablecloth weights? Just glue something pretty and heavy to the bottom and clip to the corners of your tablecloth. Perfect for dining outside or for sprucing up a dinner table.

YAY! I really wanted to win! I have been wanting to do some sort of rotating gallery in my own home but can never find the time.

Also I thought of another idea, why not glue magnets to the back of a clip and use it to hold important papers and such on the fridge.
