Jewellery Stand Ideas?
I'm gonna be selling my jewellery at my school's market day again this year (my final year) and want to make my stand look even better than last year.
My colours are dark red, pink, silver and black. Any ideas of a layout? I'll add pics of my jewellery stands tomorrow so you guys can get an idea.
This is my Facebook page so you can get the idea of what I'm selling: http://www.facebook.com/LittleTreasuresJewellery
The main problem that I have is that I can't use a white tablecloth to make the jewellery stand out because my school is basically on a farm and there's LOADS of dust.
Any suggestions are much appreciated!
The last few markets I've sold my jewelry at I've had a really small table to cram everything onto. So I bought cheap picture frames and put like a thin burlap where the picture would be, and behind that I put just a piece of paper with a color that matches my theme. I did a few different sizes anf had one for earrings, bracelets and necklaces. If you could find some black picture frames you could do something like that and then have the paper be like a pink, silver, or red. I know there are a ton of those "projects" on the site, and I think they work ah-mazing for displaying jewelry!
I like jewelery trees (there's tons on here), you can also buy embroidery hoops with your choice of fabric to hang items on. Large wooden dowels can be painted and used vertically or horizontally (depending on how you want it to look and how much building you want to do) for bracelets and necklaces.
I made one out of a sanded down branch I found in my garden and just glued it to a wood base and made another, but used a flat rock as the base after the first one got knocked over.
I did something similar to Pam for earrings where I took a frame and glued two layers of tule to it
