Suggestion: Swap Feedback

Hey,

I'm sure someone's already put this in a suggestion but I was thinking a new feature that could be added (and maybe turned off and on in user preferences) but a 'feedback' box ?

A lot of the swappers keep a tally of their swaps, dates, swapping partner and success in their profile section and I was thinking maybe something could be set up a little like an ebay feedback?

The swap PARTNER goes to the other users profile and fills out a couple of fields like:
Swap Name:
Successfully completed? Yes/No
Comments:

This way potential swappers can just jump to their partners profile and go all 'Oh cool, they did 3 plushie swaps! I'd like to swap with this person!' or whatever.

And, that's the end of my suggestion. Happy

We've developed it over this year
Some people do post this info on their page.Swap hosts have a role too and there is some though about how this could be organised in the future

And I was thinking something that you can fill out that shows on the partners profile might be handy??

I don't think they'll do anything with the profiles seeing as it isn't really a 'swapping' site it's just a craft site. The swaps are set up by the people on these forums and aren't managed or anything by Cat or Tom (at least I don't think so) so I can't see it happening in the NEAR future but could happen Happy

Well Ruby, this site wasn't originally a swapping craft site but they obviously dedicated a whole swap board to people that must have wanted one, weirder things have happened...

But if you're talking to me then yeah I know they must have created the swap boards for the people that wanted one but what I was trying to get at is that it's not moderated by Cat or Tom (I don't think! Please see post above), so they can't go much further into putting a specific place on the profile for it surely?! Anyway like I said it could happen in the future just can't see it happening in the near future... Happy

No, I didn't say that the moderators could do that... What I meant was Cat or Tom created the boards at the start with the swap section on it (only been here for a year so don't know if it's been here the whole time...). But if they moderated the swaps - not the moderators just Cat and Tom - then maybe they would put it in the profile, but they don't. If you think of all the people on this site and how many participate in swaps then not even half would use the section on the profile. But as I stated in my first post it COULD happen, just can't see it happening soon ;)

No I know you didn't say that, I was just asking, wondering... was thinking that if moderators can moderate boards, maybe they could delegate people to moderate a swap feedback system if they couldnt do so themselves -- just a thought. But yeah I see what you're saying.
