I am the same way right now. So, I go to pandora radio, online. Then you can type in a random song or artist, and it will give you lots of stuff based on that. And now I like music again! Hope that helps.

Well... It's not exactly old, but I want to throw this one out there: The Gaslight Anthem - '59 sound.

Really cool band with a sound that's kinda a mix between early sixties bands and indie rock.
