Braces. :(

It's so worth it! I never had to have teeth pulled, so I can't say if that part's worth it, but I had braces and my teeth are sooooo strait now. When they took the stuff off, I was thinking ok, get this goo off my teeth now please, and then it clicked. It wasn't goo, it was the way my teeth felt.

I feel your pain. I currently have braces and I've got another year and a half to go. yaaaaaay. the first 3 days are the worst. It feel weird having all this metal in your mouth and it hurts. You kinda just wanna rip em out. After that its not so bad. You get use to them and don't even notice them...well...until you like try to eat a whole apple...lol.

Thanks for all your responses! I've had my braces for four or five weeks now and I had to turn my expander every day. This formed a HUGE gap in my teeth. People noticed my two front teeth more than they noticed when I got braces. I have to keep this gap for three months before they put something in called a Herbst appliance, which will bring my jaw forward.
It's not so bad except for the fact that I got a new bottom wire so my teeth are a little sore. And wax DOES help. A lot. I forgot it one day and my lip got cut up so badly I almost cried. But I have wax now so it's all good.
The worst part is that I can't have gum, caramel, and a lot of other yummies. I haven't eaten anything very juicy because it stings my mouth. But it's not so bad.
