STOP WITH ALL THE FELT

...wow...someone is anti-felt, lol I love making things out of felt.

Seriously? It's so much fun!
If you don't like it then don't look at it! Simple as that! You don't have to get nasty about it!

Same here, its one of the only materials i use to sew with. Just because you dont like felt projects like that, doesnt mean you should condone so harshly. Somebody could just be starting out, and post a felt cosy that there extremly proud of. Just because you think its untalented, the person that did the project could be extremely proud that they could do something crafty in general.

this is the rant section so please feel free to get whatever you want off your chest, however there is no need to be so rude about it.
I AM talented even though I use felt. felt is awesome, whether it is wet felting or needle felting. Eco felt is totally terrific because it is made from recycled plastic bottles. and wool felt makes excellent toys for babies.
believe it or not there are some crafters out there(like myself) who craft for the enjoyment of it. we aren't trying to be innovative or cool.
please take a look at my projects and tell me how untalented I am because I have made several toys our of felt. yup took no talent at all to make those.... gosh I am so pathetic!

That's kinda a dick move... If you don't like the felt projects just ignore them. Crafting isn't really about being the coolest person here and doing everything /you/ want, so don't be such a bitch about it.

I'm with the rest of y'all. Plus, this being a site with the simple purpose of sharing things you've made, and making friends with others who make interesting things, too...we can post whatever we want. All different media is welcome. This is a place of love, OK? This is not Etsy, we aren't trying to get everyone to buy whatever items we've made(be they felt shit or not), just to SHARE. Like, "Hey, I made this, what do you think?" It's meant to be a haven for those of us who love to make things for fun, because it makes us feel good. Felt is really versatile.

And by the way...my 5 and 7 month old nephews, my 3 year old daughter, and all my ADULT swap partners have loved every SHITTY felt item I have made for them. And I love all the felt items I've received from my swap partners, a bunch of us even did a swap of purely felt items. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean the rest of us will stop. Like, Oops, sorry, didn't know 1 person in the whole world didn't want to see anymore felt projects. Time to pack it in, everyone. Anybody know where I can get some polymer clay really cheap? =not as cheap as felt=

If you see my craft room i have mountains of felt, it is very inexpensive and you can come up with lots of fun things to do, in fact i just completed a felt food swap. I make dolls, trinkets, pouches,jewelry and heaven forbid COZIES!!! OMG COZIES *faints*

Its not kewl to target one particular crafting medium if you are not understanding the concept of its awesomeness.

Its also not kewl to basicly insult 90 percent of the crafters on this site, if you do not like it just ignore it and be on your merry way, it would be nice to see how talented you are since you have no projects on your page.

So...what types of crafts does Her Highness suggest we do to please her? As she is obviously far more talented and worthy of praise than we.

I kinda agree with you there Nicki, *OH NOES!*, but I contribute alot of that felt shit.
I love seeing peoples felt creations, but then again... I do kinda get sick of them after a while.
Felt is easy, cheap and has the best range of colours, please dont take it away from us.

whoa whoa. I didn't mean to start a little riot or insult people. I was just looking through the pages looking for something to do, and I got really sick of looking at all the same stuff...mostly made from felt. I too, enjoy making things out of felt, but I don't post everything I make because I know people get sick of looking through all the same stuff. And I do apologize for being rude, it was unnecessary.
