Those American Apparel ads...

I'm really sick of seeing them. I tend to think of this site as a place of peace, tranquility, and good-natured, WHOLESOME fun. Those ads look like links to porn sites. I'm so irritated every time I see one. It kind of harshes the good mood I start out in when I first come to this site, each day.

Is anybody feelin' me?

I was a tad offended at first..but I kinda like the two colored neon leggings LOL. I agree they could have done a much better job with their photo shoot though.

I don't find them offensive, but they are a little annoying. I was trying to help a kid I work with make something and I had to click off the link quick sharp because there was a lace clad bottom in full view! This is site is likely to have pre-teenage kids clicking on it for some projects and it's either going to get them filtered or have them see something their parents would rather they didn't.

Tara, about 3 out of every 5 projects will have an ad with a girl(somewhere between 16 and 19), in full body lace, with a seam up her butt, or in panties and a bra, or tights and her hand across her naked chest. There's an ad bar to the left side of the screen, below the lists of project needs, difficulty, and time. Sometimes it will be an ad for something innocent, like a craft website, or fabric store. MOST of the time it's the prostatot.

I know what you mean. It's not just this site, American Apparel has ads on tons of sites and I hate seeing them! They're disgusting. It's because of their ads (and their outrageous prices) that I refuse to shop there.

it doesnt help that my mom walks behind me all the time
and although she doesnt say anything
i just feel uncomfertable
grr...they shouldn't be on here, they do kill a tad bit of the joy sites has to offer
