Worst first kiss

I still haven't been kissed, but im only 14, and i will be 15 in two months, but im not worried Happy

I haven't even had a "relationship" yet, but a guy a year older said that he had liked me for a long time, then me asked me out. and i was thinking, out? im 14, i cant drive, i live in a small town, how do i go "out"? but i told him that i cant date until im 16, and he was fine with it, and said maybe in a few years.

then about 5 days later he asks out one of my best friends, and the worst part was he told her he was "in love with her" But my friend politely declined and said that she wouldn't be his rebound when he got shut down by another girl.

ugh, sorry this was so long, i just had to get it off my chest.

12?!!? YOU'RE 12!?!!?
Oh, hun... girls! PLEASE don't kiss that young, my my my... kissing leads to other things.
LIKE BABIES!

My first kiss wasn't until I was almost 17, I actually believed some douche bag. We only made out a couple times. But I regret it.
I don't think you have to "kiss a couple frogs before you meet your prince."
That's a lie that society is telling all of us girls! Set standards and don't compromise! You'll appreciate it when you don't have to tell your future husband about all the guys you kissed that lead to sex.

I swear, kids are the best birth control! haha!

Haha, kissing leads to babies!

No, seriously though, I agree that you don't have to "kiss a couple frogs". I did, however, "date" a couple frogs but thats beside the point.

I'm very proud that I successfully avoided my Really Bad First Kiss. I was 13 or thereabouts, and he came at me with his tongue already out of his mouth. I started laughing and walked away. God he must have felt stupid, poor kid. hahahahahahaha wwwwwhoops

yep, you should definitely wait until you're old enough so the guy knows to keep his tongue IN his mouth, at least for the first couple seconds of the kiss. And even then, guys take a while to figure out good kissing techniques.

DON'T HAVE SEX OR YOU'LL DIE!

I know what you're saying but she had a peck. My first kiss was at a young age and I didn't have sex till I was 17 thank you very much.

You can't over think these things too much, if it's right it's right (but not when you're under 16!). If you think about it too much you won't ever be able to enjoy yourself (when you're older). We need mistakes (giving kisses not anything too drastic!) to learn and grow, you don't know until you've tried it.

chelsey, i get your concern, but we didn't get ANYWHERE near first base. It was more like -6 base. It was the kinda kiss you give your cousinb on the cheek, but just... on the lips.

As for kissing frogs, i think you have to live life and make mistakes. Not mistakes with sex, but you should be able to date and peck, its not that big a deal. Making out and sex is. I expect my future hubby to atleast have dated SOME girls, not had sex with, but just meet them and stuff. You really have to set some standards at least. I don't think i'll have sex untill at least after college, because college and high school guys are only after one thing XD Plus i'm so acward and immature, i'll be devastated if we don't end up getting married with 7 kids XD.

Plus, girls in my class are going way further than pecks and hugs, not past 2nd base as far as i know, but they're hopping from guy to guy alot.

You know what i've noticed, you can't be casual about anything at my school. Automaticaly, if you are caught talking to the opposite sex, you're engaged. WTF?

Well, obviously you're going to make some mistakes but dont be all "WELL IM GONNA MAKE SOME MISTAKES", then go make out with every guy in sight.

I miss those days....when talking about boys was the life.....

And yes...I would have to agree...you have to set some sort of standards...but also, may I say this....they do make promise rings...where you can promise to wait 'till marriage. I considered getting one as a teen, because I wanted to wait. Just a suggestion. It doesn't mean you can't kiss...it just means you are waiting for the one.

I've got a friend who's strongly Christian and she's waiting until she's married before she has sex. She still goes out with boys, but I think she's only ever been out with 1 guy so she's not just going out with anyone and everyone.
I went out with someone (well, I don't even know if I was technically together with him or what, it got really complicated) and it was a biiiiig mistake. He completely used me and messed me around, and once I eventually plucked up the courage to completely shut him out of my life I found out about things that had happened that I really wish I had never been told, and it just made me regret even more what had happened. The worst part was that people had warned me about him before but I just didn't listen. The moral of this story: if people tell you what someone is like, listen to them! And don't just let people take you for a ride, and if it looks like they're going to then tell them where to shove it Happy

you know, sometimes it takes this to happen to relaize that we should listen to people

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. I didn't listen to what anyone said and I just ended up getting hurt. Looking back on it now I just think "Huh, so they were right all along", and I really wish I'd listened to all the advice I was given in the first place.
