Hi there, I'm Mary!

Hi everyone, I'm Mary and I just moved to the USA after living in Greece for 21 years. It is good to be here in the land of yard sales and thrift stores. All of which provide lots of opportunities for me to do what I love best. I never saw something old and left it alone. Maybe that's why the house is full of seemingly useless things to the average person. But they don't know what I have in mind for these pieces. I am a wife and a mother of four. I also love to photograph my surroundings. On my blog, the Boondocks Blog, you will find lots of DIY projects, mostly repurposes and upcycles. But I also enjoy photographing Greece and I have a few years worth of photos, and now New York.
