Not new, but first time for an intro

Hi! I'm Susan from Carriere, Mississippi. I'm retired and have been sewing, knitting, crocheting and dabbled in a lot of other crafts for many, many years. I live about an hour from New Orleans, Louisiana and some very pretty beaches on the Gulf Coast. A 3 hour drive to Destin, Florida-all of these places I have visited many times. My parents were both from England, and my last visit there was in 2011, as most of my family still lives there, and I was blessed with a very "crafty" bunch. Well, its almost 11 pm here, so I'm off to bed, will check back tomorrow. I really enjoy reading all of your intros.- till then.

Hey Susan, you're so lucky living so close to New Orleans. I love Louisiana - it's my favourite of all the states. Did you go to Mardi Gras this year?
