If you're looking for MMORPGs, I have to suggest Guild Wars 2. It's $60 but has no monthly subscription fee. It's about either PvE or PvP and the decision of which it's more about is left up to the individual player.

There's always World of Warcraft. You can download and play free on an "unofficial" server. There are loads of them.

The Facebook games get kind of boring after a while..ha. World of Warcraft is everywhere, but I have yet to check it out, maybe I'll give it a shot.Thanks guys!
