Art Attack
I loved this show when i was a kid though, i could never do anything like he did on it. lol. His always looked better.
We had that, I doubt it was the same presenter though. I didn't watch the channel it was on much though I prefered Smart. (R.I.P Mark Speight ) I never thought id be able to make the stuff they did because we never had the stuff they had but I could have just asked my mum to buy them for me or wait till the washing up liquid was empty!!!!
Lol, well art attack was a british show, but it was still so cool. I was reminded of it yesterday when i was doing Paper Mache with PVA glue. heheh i miss that show.
Oh wow! You had Neil Buchanan Art Attack in Canada?
And yeah, we never had PVA glue or massive arrays of poster paints either. I preferred SMart too, I had a total crush on Jay Burridge! Ha. SMart always seemed to have more things that I had around, they made things out of rubbish occasionally.
Jay Burridge! That was the other guys naaaame, I think I liked him too! I watched it a few weeks ago and Kirsten made a print block thing out of the polistyrene that comes in pizza boxes!
I couldn't remember the art attack guy's name, I liked the set but again loved smart more.
I just realised the other day that Neil Buchanan had a mullet, didn't he? hehe
Yeah, I watched Art Attack and Smart - I love when they did the big pictures by laying down a thousand bottle tops or something.
oo yeh that was always ace!! I loved it on blue peter when they made stuff. I have a blue peter badge I sent a picture in
Ya we had Neil here in Canada. But i loved that shoe, i wish i could make it. though, im better than i use to be. And some how alot less messier.
that show was awesome, I mean how many people can say they worked next to a giant paintbrush!!
that used to be my favourite show, I had a video of one episode that mum bought for me at the flee markets but I cant find it
"Do you know what it is yet?"
Isn't that Rolf Harris?
I've never heard of this show! It sounds SO COOL THOUGH! I wish I watched a show like that when I was little!
That sounds awesome. I just watched Bob Ross and Pappy Drewit (sp?) and that was it for art shows. They need something like Bill Nye or Beekman's World for artists!
I used to watch Art Attack a lot when I was younger but I definately prefered SMart - this is what probably started my love of art and crafting =) !
