Milk

i just saw that movie last night and its was really good. it was really...inspiring i guess, especially how harvey milk had a lot of things go wrong for him and still managed to stay positive and have an effect on the gay rights and such.

anyone else seen it? thoughts?

I loved it! I found it so inspiring and it just made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I like how they stuck pretty close to the truth and didn't try to glorify it. Also I think Sean Penn did a great job at portraying Harvey and his friendly personality, and I even thought Josh Brolin did a good job at making White into an actually human being, and not just a villain for us to hate (of course you still hate him, but at least you understood a bit).

yeah I loved the way they portrayed Dan White, you understood a bit. Sean Penn was great in that movie. It was really inspiring and I liked how they made it so that you saw both sides [Dan White's that is]
