Repairing Boot Soles

I have a pair of Steve Madden Combat boots that I love so dearly. They were the first in a line of many many other pairs of various black combat style boots. But the Madden ones were always my favorite because they were my first pair and they began my love for grunge rock and many other things that have made me who I am. So as you can see I have a big "Bond" if you will, with these boots. I wore them everyday, all day, all of the time.. So if you can imagine, they got pretty beat up. One day as I was walking through a puddle, I all of a sudden felt wet on my toes.. I looked at the bottom of my boots and sure enough, there was a HUGE hole in the soles, No, not a hole.. The whole top corner of the sole had ripped from the shoe. I've been forbade to wear them again, I am determined to fix them for as little $$ as possible.

I'll try to post pictures of the sole (If I can find out how to use this fancy computer lol)
Anyone have any ideas?

Shoe Goo 3-5$ at walmart maybe target
Shoe Goo will help, but the hardest part is giving it enough time to set up. I used Shoe Goo on boots I had where the heel block was coming off... I even tied the sole down with the laces and put weights on top of it all and they came apart again after my first day of wearing them again. So it's kindof hit or miss and it also depends on the materials you're trying to stick back together. My boots were just cheap thrift store boots so maybe the higher quality materials in your boots will work better with the glue.
Lol.. My boots are not high quality.. When I got them I wore them every day for about 4 days.. and the heels were so worn down that I had to get them replaced, 4 DAYS! The sole is not much better.
