Weekend?
So what has everyone got planned this weekend?
No guesses to where i will be . . . . . . . . Work
Aww poor you - which day of the week is normally your fun day? It's my Mum's birthday, so we're taking her for lunch tomorrow and then coming back to our place for cake and presents. I've just finished baking a ginger & lavender bundt!
And then on Sunday, we're taking my Mum for an adventure day in Glasgow with a tour of House For An Art Lover, afternoon tea, a mini shopping spree in Whole Foods and maybe an outdoor movie with a picnic in the evening.
That sounds fab @catmorley I'm sure she'll have a fab time. I'm going to the edinburgh yarn crawl with my knitting group today and a spot of botanising with a friend tomorrow.
@catmorley my fun day is usually tuesday and thursday as they are the only days off i have
Ohh let me know how the yarn crawl is @libby-w - I was planning to go to that until my Mum's birthday began to span 2 days. She loved her cakes and presents
@MischievousRaven what fun things have you got planned for Tuesday & Thursday?
@mischievousRaven it's a shame you don't get two days off together. Having a day off mid week is always handy for going to the bank and suchlike.
@catmorley the yarn crawl was fab! This is the first year I have been as I was at a wedding last year. I also missed the ed yarn fest this year as we were moving house, so it was good to be able to make this. I was trying not to buy yarn but I couldn't resist this, it was just too beautiful! At the moment I'm just squishing it and staring at it lovingly.
@catmorley apart from course work and driving my little brother around for decorating stuff, not much fun stuff really. Update my planners, get round to drawing this week and jog lol not fun at all for someone who is looking into my life really lol
@libby-w its hard having 2 days off together because i work in a residential home, and unfortunately for me im too reliable and never say no
