places to go in UK on train
anyone have good places to visit for a day or 2 that is cheap but also relates to crafters?
I know the perfect place! It's called Sleeperzzz and it's a train carriage campervan park in the Highlands! http://www.sleeperzzz.com/
You get your own train carriage, which has been converted into a hotel room - with a bedroom in one carriage, a kitchen in the next and a living room in the third with all it's original features intact - perfect for geeky train fans
It's about £20 a night to stay and it's right at Rogart train station so it would be so easy to get too. We stayed there a few years ago and had an amazing time watching the stars at night: http://www.catmorley.com/blog/2014/9/29/the-black-isle
omg, that looks wicked.
was looking all day yesterday on travel up to scotland but trains are expensive and no coaches running on the dates i wanna go. Dont want to drive up there tbh
Wow that looks amazing! We're in the middle of planning our trip for August. I've been dying to drive round the north coast of Scotland for a while now, this would be a lovely place to add in on our trip
Ohh, another amazing place we that we stayed that @MischievousRaven might like was Roulotte Retreat :

It's a gypsy caravan style park near the Borders that Tom took me to for my birthday. The Roulette's were so pretty and cosy inside. Also lots of stars and you can have a picnic on your patio (see how happy Tom was ):
