Making a gift for the boyfriend... but running out if ideas. Help please?

I have been dating my boyfriend for almost two years and am running out of gift ideas. He likes thing that come from the heart. I have already made him a shirt that he loves and i also made him a book about the reasons i love him, and a couple of plushies, o and a coupon book. I want something that he will love that i can make. Also i forgot to mention i already made a CD with all of his favorite songs! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

My boyfriend loves coffee and tea, so one year I made him a mud rug- a star trek one because he's a big trek fan. This year I'm making him a star trek apron because he also loves to cook. I've also made him a CD with music from movies we've seen together. One year for Christmas I embroidered a pillow with the words I Love You in binary. Men love practical gifts, so think about something he could use and make it for him in a way that's personal to his tastes.

Try being with the same guy for 9 years, I'm struggling through this problem every damn year hhahaha...

One year when I really really didn't know what the hell to make him, I took the 'lame way' out and knitted him a scarf from very luxurious yarn. Wasn't sure if he'd like it, but it tuned out that he loved it and wore it untill it basically fell apart.

Or just cook him a special dinner. I very much believe in food as a wonderfull present.

My fiance and I have been together for 6 years, and I thought I ran out of ideas until I got a pack of knitting looms. I made him a headband recently so he has something to keep his ears extra warm this winter. I'm going to make him a hat for our anniversary in December. So try loom knitting! It's easy to knock out a hat in just a couple of hours.

Look through craft books for inspiration, too. While a lot of DIY books are marketed towards women, there are usually some unisex/masculine projects in each book. Maybe turn some of his old shirts into pillows or a quilt? I made a quilted scarf for my fiance one year and he still wears it.
