I did my interview with her a month before it posted. Cat is a pro interviewer, the first time my boyfriend and I met her and Tom she just drilled us with questions! lol

Being interviewed and spotlighted as a featured member is a honor and a privilege. It is something to be earned not simply tossed about randomly. If you want to know more about members read their bios and learn who they are from their projects and board posts.

If you have a question you want to know ask, but don't duplicate efforts of others. Be original.

I agree with Stacy. Don't copy things that are happening for featured members. Every featured member did something to deserve their spotlight.

Calm down, she's just a kid. There's no need to get so worked up about something like this.

Don't get too upset about it. Sometimes people on the site come across as mean when they are being a bit too defensive.

I've been on the site for 3 or 4 years now and my goal since I started was to have a featured project, which still hasn't happened. So I can completely understand how you feel. Just be patient =]

Have to say though that it's not very polite to copy questions that other people have asked, especially when some of them are ongoing threads on the boards. People have already asked all those questions before to make conversation.

I had no intention of sounding mean or defensive, but the interviews done by Crafterella are meant to be kinda special for the people being asked.

Seriously, I don't think think Syeynon's intention was to be rude or copy! It seemed like she didn't totally get the featured members thing, and was just trying to do something fun for the other members. I agree with Andrea, this is getting blow way out of proportion.

I don't think Syeyon meant to take away from others' spotlight; she just wanted to give other members a chance to share information about themselves. She wasn't purposefully trying to take attention away from the featured members. She's a kid, and her intentions were good, so let's try to just let this go.

I was actually referring to stacy’s response; I just think it could have been addressed in a more appropriate manner & I'll leave it at that.

(I'm not trying to rude or just because Im not a featured member I'm not trying to cheat I just wanted to be fun but oh whatever ..)

Well, there are plenty of those other discussions going on that you're more than welcome to take part in. That's why they were started... so people could chat and share their craft addictions and update the statuses of their ongoing projects.
