Grand Rapids, Michigan...vintage dress shops?

Haha, so of all the places in Michigan, I am from the home of Artprize, but I can't seem to find a good vintage dress shop.
This Saturday, my mom is taking me shopping for a prom dress, and I HATE MODERN PROM DRESSES. Well, really, all modern formals. I hate shiny satin and all of the cutouts and the cliche cuts of the garments...
However, I LOVE all (okay, most, not all) vintage formal dresses.
So, with all of this complaining, I'm wondering if anyone has ever been to GR and if so, what are some good vintage dress shops?
I've tried Goodwill, but all the formals there are nothing I would ever want to wear.

I would try this store Called CoatofMany Colors. Its one of my fav retro stores in the area. Also I haven't lived in MI for over 6 years but my friend told me about this place called Minty Keen. Other than that I'm not sure but...GOOD LUCK! And mad props on not choosing a corny crappy prom dress Happy

Drive 2 hours north to Cadillac & go to Atomic Closet! She has the coolest vintage dresses, hats, jewelry and all things fabulous! She's on the main drag Mitchell downtown on the East side of the road. Sunny yellow store front so you can't miss it. She has a Facebook page with a few things on it.
