exam tips?
Well basically,i have a religious education GCSE exam on tuesday and im really nervous. Its my firstt GCSE and we're taking it early because they scrapped year 9 sats.I was wondering if any one had any good tips and tricks for exams because im really worried and it would really help!!
thanks
Take a few pieces of notebook paper and rewrite the notes most important for the exam. Continual note-taking on the same subject will help you remember the information better.
Also, making charts helps if you can apply a chart model to the information you need to study.
I use notecards to help me study. Write the question on one side and the answer on the other side. Make sure you highlight the answer, read through once, and then try to answer the questions correctly each time you go through.
For some reason when I color the answer it helps me remember.
Also try cramming before bed, when you sleep your mind processes information better than if you stayed up all night cramming. Also I have heard caffeine helps you remember studied information. IDK about the validity of this though.
GCSEs aren't that bad. Try getting some past papers to work through. Usually you'll find a pattern that the papers follow (the structure might be the same or some of the questions repeat in many papers). This will make it much easier for you because you have an idea of what they could ask. Make sure you also get the memo for the question papers so you can see how they want the questions answered.
I just wrote my last GCSE exam this week so I know how stressful they can be. Just try to stay calm, and don't try to cram in all your studying right before the exam because it makes your brain tired.
Good luck!
Thanks so much guys!!
I took my exam yesterday and It was okay, still hard though. :S
I used revision cards and they worked alright
I still couldn't remember a single piece of scripture though, due to nerves
