No school 4 days in a row
So on Tuesday, the roads were really icy making it dangerous to go outside so they closed down all the schools. Plus there was a bit of snow making it more dangerous. They had to close down again on Wednesday and Thursday because the roads were still icy. Then they closed down on Friday because there were a few power outages and it was going to snow... again.
Like every other typical Texan, I stayed up 'till midnight just watching the snow fall from the sky, and it's still snowing!! I couldn't be more happier! I'm watching it snow right now, lol!
It's a little sad though because there's a cat living in our backyard. I wish I could go out and help it, maybe when it stops snowing I'll go out there and make it more comfortable. We told our dad but he didn't really seem to care.
But I have to admit, it has been a very lazy week. Now we're just gonna have to make up for these days....
lol must be a rare thing for you. We get snow all the time here and went back to school after 2 days.
The cat will be okay. Just try to feed it whenever you can. And if I was still in school I would be happy too! But snow is not uncommon in Ohio, so I'm very use to it. But I still watch it all the time. I love love love when there is no wind and the snow just drifts down to the ground. It's awesome.
PinkWeeds- Yeah, it's pretty rare. We blame the Packers for bringing their weather here, lol.
Veronies- The cat only comes out at night, so I'm not really sure what to do. I guess I could leave some food out for it. The snow is so pretty that it blinds my eyes... and I wear glasses, lol. 8)
Oh I wouldn't leave food out for it. I'd call the shelter and have them set some traps for it. That would be the most humane thing to do- then it would get a second chance.
well be careful on that ice
