I want a Serger. I have an old Singer I got when I was like 13. It was the cheapest one at Wal Mart. It gets the job done.

What kind of machine did you get?

Wow! My mum just offered me to help me buy a new sewing machine with embroidery functions!!! But they are changing from disk to USB at the moment... I won't buy a cheaper one with disks and then can't buy no disks anymore in about 3 years?
And there are no secondhand machines with USB yet, so I have to wait... But I don't have the time to sew now anyway. Happy
But I'm so looking forward to finish my studies and then I'll buy one!Happy Happy And the program to design my own embroidery-Designs (that program is sooo expensive... Happy((( )

I want to get a sewing machine for uni. My mum says I shouldn't and that I should wait until I come home at holidays to sew things, but then there'll be piles of stuff and not enough time to sew it all!

Mine was just a Brother machine, it has a buttonhole function and like 10 stitches. And a reverse button, of course. I love it! I named it Lillith.

I want a Serger, too...

I actually had some trouble with mine, but it was my fault. I thought the tension control was the stitch length, haha. But its all good and now I'm wearing my bracelets, skirt, and shirt I made with my new machine!!

I've been sewing all day.
