Hello Hobby Lobby!
Ok, just got to be excited for a minute...
So, I got an order to redo the lunch box set I made for a swap. Excited me drives to Michaels to get the materials and *gasp! They don't stock them anymore!
So, in a complete panic, I search for 2 days online to find the same tiedye felt sheets and am pleasantly surprised to find them at Hobby Lobby's online shop.
So, I've heard you gals talk about them in the past, but it never really stuck with me, since I can drive right down the road to Michaels. And I didn't think about being able to buy online because Michael's doesn't offer online sales. I just figured Hobby Lobby would be the same.
I'm so freaking excited right now because they even sell FABRIC!!! I can never find the right color fleece I need to make a stuffed toy and it saves me an hour's drive into the next town to buy cheap crap at their Wal-Mart.
If Hobby Lobby came to our town, I'd probably lose my mind. Do their actual stores have this much awesomeness, or is it just their online store?
All of the craft stores are an hour away from me. T_T I usually never get to go. And walmart has downsized their craft area so much it's not even worth going anymore. I love Hobby Lobby's online store though! If I really need something I order online. The last thing I ordered got here fast too, within two or three days.
Hobby lobby is great, I love to go there.Have to be dragged out when I do get to go..smile..
hobby lobby stores are awesome! i don't have on near me now but i used to go to one when i lived in north dakota. it was a big one with large home decorating section. srsly spent hrs just browsing in that store. i go to a joann fabrics now.
I've never been to Hobby Lobby or Joanne's. I think that if I had the chance, I'd probably get arrested for loitering. ;)
I just got a Hobby Lobby here in Vegas but was a little bummmed out that ours is about 80% holliday decorations. But then I found the resin molds and fell in love. Too bad all the fluorescent lights seem to give me really bad head aches and I had to leave before I was done drooling over the awesomeness.
Our Hobby Lobby has been open for a year almost. It's in the old Walmart building. It's all mostly house decor, which is annoying but the other sections of the store don't seem to suffer for it. It's a pretty big store.
I am a bigg Hobby Lobby fan as well as my grandma and aunt lol, I also like Jo-Anna's alot Micheals has neat wood working items to work on, but I think Micheals is just too much money. Oh and in the Sunday paper I get, IN has a 50 off any reg. priced item at Hobby Lobby, they have such good deals. Terribly sorry to hear they arent around more :/
Hobby Lobby is heaven!!! When I still lived with my parents I would go there about once a week just because it was a 20 minute drive. I'm very sad there is not one where I live now. There is a Jo Ann's, and I like it, but it's just not the same.
Hobby Lobby is amazing! I live within 5 minutes of one (10 from a michaels) and I prefer Hobby Lobby. I can go in for 1 thing and spend an hour and a half just walking around the store!
You can also print out the 40% off coupon every other week from their website (alternating weeks is a different coupon but sometimes just what you want )

Hobby Lobby just opened near me, and I'm not that impressed. Everything there seems to cost twice as much as anywhere else.
Of course I live in Ohio and I might just be spoiled by having Pat Catan's down the street.
It's my new fave store. It's a 10 minute drive as opposed to Michaels being a 2 minute one, but I found out they have a better selection of stuff I was looking for in a more organized fashion. And! some of the things I already bought at michaels were less expensive at Hobby Lobby. grr.
we don't have one here, we do have dollarrama and the discount store.
I must stay away from them
