Giveaways..?

I want to have a giveaway on my blog some vintage fabric and other bits but I'm a bit :S about it.

I've never done one and I have less than 100 subscribers who I don't think actually read.. Does anybody have any advice or done giveaways sucessfully? It would be rubbish to only have 5 entrants!

I really don't know what works the best. But, I would think if you advertise it well, then you could have a big turn out. You could post a link up here on the boards when you do, do it.

If you are trying to get more subscribers, most seem to like to make it a requirement that they follow their blog to enter. Then they also do extra entries if they share the contest on their blog, twitter, facebook, and so on.

go to <a href="http://etsygiveaways.blogspot.com/">Etsy Giveaways</a> (your giveaway doesnt have to be on Etsy, its just a name) before you start and they'll advertise it for you, you'll get plenty of traffic from them, then just do what jeanette said and it'll take care of itself. best of luck

What jonesy said. That's a great way to get a lot of traffic to your giveaway. Whenever I host a giveaway, I always post on there.

Aww thanks guys.. The Etsy thing sounds good.

I'm really excited about the upcoming one! Been sent a Halloween craft book for review so that's going to be up for grabs. Best get moving on it actually :S
