who's making halloween costumes this year?

Who is already in the process of making their halloween costumes this year? I haven't started yet but i have it all planned out in my head! Because i am a big nerd i make matching costumes for my kids, my husband, and myself. this year i am making Yo Gabba Gabba costumes. (it's a kid's tv show in the USA)

you should try! i have been sewing for less then 2 years and it's usually plush toys but last year i made both my kids costumes! the internet is great for ideas on handmade stuff. i bet if yoo googled homemade spongebob costume you'd find some easy ideas!

Well, it's not a Halloween costume per se, but a cosplay and/or Gothic Lolita outfit. Youmacon is coming around, and it's held on Halloween week/end. I want to make a Katara outfit, but if not, I'm just going to make a skirt and waist cincher to go with my qi-loli outfit (I bought a really nice top last year that would go perfectly with what I have in mind).

I'm a huge LOTR geek as well, my dad has all the extended versions and like 3 discs of extra stuff. Happy

I probably won't look like arwen, I'll need to buy a wig, my hair is short and multicolored as opposed to long and black but whatever.
