I love your etsy shop!! I think all the stuff is uber cute :]
Maybe you could try checking out some craft fairs in your area and selling your stuff there?
How long have you been trying?
I read an article that says most people don't get there first sell on Etsy until its been up for 6 months or so. and that is just the first sale! I have had mine for a couple of months and have only gotten one sale and that was from a friend! So, hang in there, and remember everyone is broke right now....
I also checked out your myspace, you are a skilled crafter. I love the stuff on your etsy but for me its a bit pricey for me to buy on one item(its just me i am on a budgets since i have 2 girlie girls, a hub and 2 dogs to take care of)! Just get your self out there , post bulitins on myspace, or list it on criaglist for more web traffic,get business cards made or make your own, I see you are on base, see if there are any craft shows comng up on base that you can participate in. Also get to know some of the crafters on base as well. My husband is in the army so once he gets deployed I will be part of FRG (family readiness group) and they do all sorts of fund raisers so it would be kewl to do a craft sale instead of a bake sale. That is what I plan on doing!
I have a suggestion.
For your pictures, you should not have a dark background, it take away from what you are selling. I would suggest using clean, light colors (like white, light blue, etc) as a background.
Also you need a little more direct light on your products.
Cute hairpins though, best of luck.
what chelsea said. Also, your product is so itty bitty, you could use your macro setting and get some much clearer pictures. Daylight helps too, A LOT.
pictures are a biiiig thing on etsy. you need pwetty pictures to get into treasuries to get on the front page.
aaw they are lovely things though! get advertising, using myspace and add a load of crafty friends!

PICS AND PRICES FIXED FOR THE BETTER ON MY ETSY!!!!! PLEASE GO SEE NOW FRIENDS!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!
Hello, I would definately go for a plain background on the images as the chinese silk fabric washes out the item and makes me have to squint ><
I like the idea of the hairchopstick thing but I dunno, some of the things I wouldnt want in my hair? Like thermometers and things... MAybe make some really pretty 'girly' ones like beaded flowers and stuff, along the lines of this one http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=25693535 then you're expanding the market of people your idea will appeal to :}
