HARRY POTTER PARTY

im gonna have a hp party and ive decided already even tho my bday is a century away.
i need help with how to make three rooms:
1.snapes study
2.great hall
3.slytherin common room

by the way griff is cool but slytherin common rm is more exciting.
is anyone hear on pottermore?
i am.my quiz gave me ravenclaw. i wanna be griff! Happy

For the slytherin common room, i would just decorate it with green and silver/grey streamers and balloons, and fake snakes. Not sure about the great hall, but for snape's study, you could make fake potions for decorations. there's a how-to somewhere on this site i know.

thanks melissa but i already decided the slytherin banner n stuff and i have a 100 ideas for fake potions.
i just needed it to be sort of dungeony if u kno wat i mean

You could use any lamp with a "cold" light to make the room more cold, and use candles, like in Snape's class. Also you can put a cauldron with dyed water or fruits punch, and put a smoke bomb around so it seems like Seamus has been there Tongue Also you can put black tape or staple black streamers along the wall to make it look like the dungeon's wall. If there's something in bright coloursm remove it. Also put some jars with fake sugar eyes or brains. Hope it helps!

haha I am not sure how to help with this since you aren't really doing the Gryffindor room haha but I will think of some things, if I can! you could print out some head masters pics and put them in some cheap frames for the great hall.
