Knitting Help?

Ok, I think I'm finally ready to try and dive in, my only problem? I can't seem to find good tutorials on how to start! And so who better to ask then the CO+K community? So many of you guys are all over the crafting web so perhaps a few of you could lead me to some green grass? I'd love to make my very own nice scarf for the upcoming cold weather. I don't want to get complicated on my first try, but I can't even figure out the beginnings of knitting. So, Help!!

If you check out my how to for my dog scarf it has great links to video tutorils which is basically how I learned. Hope that helps xx
