Learn to crochet help?

I'd really like to learn to crochet, but I don't know where to start! Could anyone suggest and websites or anything o get me started?

I'm trying to learn to crochet too, I have a couple of dvds and some books. There are some good video tutes on youtube, they are a good place to start.

I learned to crochet the simple chain from my mother, but the other steps I learned from her videos!Its really easy and she explains it great!

I found that this website explains things pretty well and has nice illustrations and videos: http://learntocrochet.lionbrand.com/ I used it to brush up after not crocheting for many years.
