Dexter/Blood Splatter Necklace

My best friend is a Dexter fanatic and for her birthday I kinda want to make her a blood splatter necklace. Any ideas on how to achieve that "killer" look??

Either one you could cut out the shape from a hard plastic like a #6 container and the paint red and cover with a glaze glue or decopodge if you have some handy. You could poke a hole or two in the plastic with a hot needle or a nail so you can add jump rings to attach to the necklace Happy
