Your Dream Project...

Hi everyone,

Do any of you have a dream project? I mean the kind of project you would like to do if you weren't limited by time, money, space and/or skills (or any other of those pesky things life likes to throw at you...Wink )?
For me it would be building a (small) house, one of those made with cob or straw bales (or something along those lines) that you see videos of on YouTube. Those Tiny Houses are very cute too, but considering the amount of stuff I own, I'd need at least 4 lol.
But I digress...
And not just build the house, but make most of what would go on the inside as well, like furniture, crockery, quilts, wall&floor tiles, you name it lol.
Really start from scratch Love
I would even like to make a loom so I could weave my own tea towels, and a pottery wheel to make clay mugs and jugs. Building a forge to make spoons and forks would probably be taking things a bit too far lol, but the idea is very intriguing Smile Shock

I hope I'm not the only one with an overactive imagination lol, and I'd love to hear what you're dreaming of making Happy
Who knows, I might end up adding even more to my list... Wink

I don't know about a dream project, your ideas are very ambitious C.J.M! But I sometimes daydream about decorating my future home. Or even just a small space that I had complete control over, like a caravan or campervan.

I know, it's really, really ambitious lol, that's why it will probably never be anything but a dream Wink
If I really had the chance to build my own home and decorate it, I'd probably be overwhelmed by the options and possibillities. So many styles and colour schemes to choose from.
Perhaps I should start a scrapbook or journal with drawings and pictures of everything I like, even if I never do build my own house I could use the ideas to decorate the home with I live in now Love

It's good to dream and you can start small by making a simple frame loom and work your way up to a house! (Maybe!)

Hi Helen,
Yeah, it is good to dream and I'm rather good at it Wink
Not very good at starting small though, but then I've always had more dreams than sense lol
Is there something you'd really love to do, given the chance? Happy
