Help deciding what to make
I have just found an entire bag of feathers I have bought a few years ago in a draw, and I am not quite sure what to make. I also have very few beads and little variety of buttons, cardboard, colored paper, and foam and all that whatnot. I am more than willing to buy more crafting supplies as well
Make a feathery wreath!
Just start laying everything out and see what all looks good together. You might find some hidden inspiration.
Is shouldn't matter if the feathers are broken or not? and Also, is there a way to make use of some feathers that were cut, but the rest is still really fluffy?
As soon as I hear feathers, I think of cats. My cat loves feathers!
You can always make a bunch of cat toys for Xmas gifts.
I do love the wreath though.
I don't think broken feathers would be an issue, especially if you layer them, or maybe cut them into a new shape.
My photo professor from last semester has vases full of peacock feathers, so maybe scatter them around with fake flower bouquets for extra texture and shape.
you can make a fascinator or some sort of hair clip there are plenty of tutorials for that here on CO+K or you can use them to decorate a mask, make feather extensions for your hair, make earrings, shoulder pads, gift tags.... there are a lot of possibilities I'll include some pictures of what I found with google
