Sticky spray paint

Hi guys, I hope someone can help me with this:
I was making leather earrings, and I spray painted the white leather gold, but now that it's dry, it's really sticky... (it has been dry for over a week now and it's still sticky...) Does anyone know what I can do about it?

Don't use spray paint on leather. It will stick if it doesn't dry properly. Acrylics and fabric paints tend to work better on leather, but no paint ever stays on leather permanently.

There's not much you can do to fix it, honestly. I would recommend trying to remove the paint with vegetable or mineral oil.
