What to do with Tights and Socks?

My friend gave me this HUGE garbage bag full of cute cotton socks and tights from when she was a kid for crafting. I don't want them to go to waste, but I have no clue what to do with them. Any suggestions?

Just to specify, these are slightly thick cotton tights and socks. All of them are colorful or have a print (they were socks designed for ages 4-8, I think). They are all in very good shape. No tears or holes.

You could make little half shirts out of the tights for any kids you know. Cut the gusset out and the feet off. These are especially good for baby ballerinas!

Socks, especially if they have a print and they're really long, make for neat arm warmers and wristbands.
