Bleachin' backpack helpp

Hey guys I was wonderin' if any of you could help me?
I got this old black jansport backpack that i wanted to change up....by bleaching it. Would I just spray some bleach on? Or leave it in a bucket of bleach? Have any of you done this? got any tips or anything to help? haha anything helps and id really appreciate it.
My b if this is the wrong section for it haha

I havent ever bleached something with as many pockets and such like a backpack, but usually when your trying to beach a lot of fabric evenly you put it in the washer (or bucket if you dont have a washer to devote to thie project) start a small light wash with warm water. Then in a big pitcher or bucket add in equal amounts of bleach and water. When the washer has gotten about 5 min into its wash cycle, dump the water/bleach mixture in. Let the cycle go a few more min. Then you can stop the cycle and let it sit for 30 min or so. The let it finish the wash. You might have to do this a few times to get it all even, or to get out all the color. Good Luck Happy

What I do to tees is get a bottle of straight bleach, spray it on, wait about 30 seconds (so the bleach can bleach it) wash it with cool water (I do this in the tub), then put it through the washer and dryer Happy
