EGG EMERGENCY!!!!!!!

Help me! I am making chocolate filled eggs for my co-workers (saw it on craftzine). I've followed the instructions and everything has gone well up until now. I have poked a hole in the ends of my eggs and blown out the yolks. The instructions then say to cover the eggs in warm water and gently boil. Well guess what!? The eggs float!!! It's impossible to cover them with water if they float! I'm afraid I might poison my co-workers if I don't do this properly. Any suggestions?

hmmm... how big do you make the hole in the egg? Does it say later in the instructions it has to be able to put chocolate in? if so maybe making your hole bigger now would be good.

did you try filling the egg with a bit of water b4 putting it in to boil? that might help keep it down...

oo thats a good idea, and maybe dont fill the pan up so much? maybe you could put some grease proof paper on the surface of the water and they'll stay under that.

I'm going to have a go at it again tonight. This time I am going to fill the egg with water as soon as I am done draining the yolk. Maybe I waited too long before. I really want to do this egg thing!

How about gently holding them under water with tongs?
