Bass Guitar cake - Sweet decoration ideas?

I'm making a cake for my friends 17th on sunday in the shape of a bass guitar. I want to use lots of sweets on the cake e.g. liquorice for the strings etc. but I could do with other ideas for the other parts of the instrument Happy

Any ideas are appreciated!!
