I need a new haircut.. and some help.

I've had a lot of different haircuts over the years, but every time I hit a haircut rut, I go right back to an angled bob that I first tried out when I was 8. I'm almost 21 now, and I just need to stray away from a hairstyle I've been doing on and off for over a decade.

My hair is naturally wavy, but I usually straighten it with a little bit of hairspray and a brush. It's also dyed black currently, and I'm planning on putting some purple into the bangs.

I'm of a more casual Gothic persuasion, I guess you could say (not that crap they try to sell as "goth" at Hot Topic and etc).

Right now, my hair is down to my chin in the front (save for my straight-across bangs), and it's about at the level of the top of my ears in the very back... so that's what I have to work with for a new haircut.

Help me, because I'm stuck... The only haircuts I can think of are different styles of bobs. D:

It's a lot like Louise Brooks' hair (http://freespace.virgin.net/b.world/LouiseBrooks1.jpg) but a bit longer and more dramatically angled.

My face shape is kinda between round and heart-shaped.

I'm just trying to get away from the hairstyles that are bob-like or long in the front and short in the back. I don't really have too many options though since it's layered and not very long.
