dark circles - skin lighteners and concealers?

so. I read in allure for hereditary dark circles you need a lightener, a concealer, and suncreen to take care of it. The only skin lightener i've had is this fair & lovely stuff from Bangladesh (over there everybody favours light skin Tongue), and I lost that, and I haven't heard of any other skin lighteners.

Additionally, if you know a good concealer brand..... do tell! Happy

I'd try HissyFit concealer if you find it - I have really bad dark circles, and that hides them completely, and you only need a teeny tiny bit of it Happy

I swear by Benifit 'Boing!' concealer- it's quite creamy and doesn't turn to chalk or cake on my skin Happy Three 'smudges' under each eye and blending in also makes me look fresh as a daisy!

Okay a little bump up on this topic.

If you have blue/purple dark circles, try a peach/salmon toned concealer under your foundation.

If you have red circles try green.

Brown ish try lilac/pink.

trust me, this way of correcting works best.
This trick works great with a highlighter over your foundation.

I fully agree with Miku on her colour coding theory. Using a concealer with a colour base the opposite of your circles will hide them more effectively.

Check eBay for "brightening" or "whitening" skin products. They're mostly based in Asia but they do work.

As for concealer, I use Maybelline Mineral Power and its great =]
