I have greasy hair too, I use to wash it once every two days.
sometime I try to resist a day more, because I think it's not good for my hair to wash often, but I feel so unease..
I also use baby powder sometimes and it works great: it absorbs the greas, be sure to brush your hair accurately after!

Maybe try using baking soda.
My hair takes a lot of abuse, what with all of the hair products and heat it has to deal with everday.
All of the product tends to makemy hair look super greasy.
I found that adding about a tablesppon of baking soda to my shampoo (not the bottle. I add it when it'sin my hand) helps wash out the product and grease.

I have to wash mine everyday or it looks like an oil slick! I agree with the others' suggestions about baby powder or baking soda. That will absorb the oil between washings. I have a commercially made brand of powder that's meant for that purpose.

I have naturally, thin, flat, greasy hair, so i tried TIGI Catwalk Root Boost, wich i heard works really well (and it does!) and it absorbs alot of oil and grease from my hair. If my hair is super dirty, and I don't havetime to wash it, i just put some root boost in and it looks fine! it truly is amazing stuff, but you have to use it right and it stays adsorbed for a few days untill the product comes out. I suggest that you use a lighter shampoo (I prefer Dove or Head & Shoulders). I wash my hair almost everyday now, because if i wash it one night before I sleep, and go to bed, the next day my hair has not problem, but if I do not wash it again that same night, it gets oily around bedtime. If you get dandruff, use head and shoulders to get rid of dandruff, and also use a conditioner for NORMAL hair, and wash it every day. Personally, it sounds like my hair is not as bad as yours (no offense...), and i wash it everyday without it drying out.

I've got really thick hair and it grows so quickly! I can't complain though as so many people wish for my think locks. But I can't wash it everyday either as it just takes far too long to dry and style! So I wash it every other day and in between use a spray on dry shampoo. I've only recently discovered dry shampoo but it works well!! The one I'm trying out at the moment is Batiste for brunette hair (apparently the normal ones leave a white powder behind? That's what I read though, not from personal experiences).
