My name is Tana Smith. I run a DIY and Lifestyle channel on Youtube called Tanamontana100. My passion is creating innovative and fun projects that anyone can enjoy making! This perfectly translated itself into a DIY book about bedroom décor and allowed me to really pour out my creativity for my readers and fans!
Jenna from Wife In Progress recreates the style of Jennifer Aniston's stylish living room.
The pictures of her house that are available online show quite a warm, somewhat masculine style with lots of dark colors, rich furnishings, wood, stone ad metals - plenty of "natural" elements. To me, this matches perfectly with her sense of asual fashion that she's known for - she has great taste but looks like the approachable girl next door. I wanted to try to convey this in the pieces I picked.
There are so many great things about living in Carlisle! It's a really friendly place with a strong sense of community. For such a small city we have a lot going on and there's always something to do and see. Carlisle has a long and interesting history and you can see this in the architecture of the city and the surrounding areas. As well as having a lovely city centre we are surrounded by beautiful countryside, we have the Lake District, the Pennines and South West Scotland all on our doorstep so if you're an outsidey type person there's lots to explore.
Come behind the scenes at A Bouquet of Buttons and tour Lieke's sewing room in Antwerp, Belgium.
What I love the most is that I don't have to more around all my sewing stuff anymore. Most things have their proper space by now, so bye-bye trying to fit in all my sewing stuff into the clothing cupboard. And I'd also like to add something that I don't like. We live in a narrow but high house. So the sewing studio and out living room are on a different floor. And I must admit that I feel lonely inthere from time to time. It's also a big tradition from a small apartment (30 square meters) where there was no privacy unless you would spend your evening on the toilet, to being on a different floor.
