it IS weird how similar our hometowns seem haha. but new mexico is like... desert-y, right? virginia is like woodsy...? haha i don't know, but that's cool about the swap! i'm going to maybe fine-tune my craft/sewing skills before venturing into that stuff. there's nothing to do in the summer, and too much to do in the school year, so i started to sew and stuff

aw you got a swap? i'm jealous. what do you think you'll make for the swap? i'd love to have a preview ^_^ but my walmart is kind of ghetto... like literally. i live on the border between regular city and ghetto city haha. but i have a suggestion since the craft/fabric store is far away, go to the walmart and buy a cute oversized skirt, dress, or tee with a cute patter or fabric, and deconstruct it! i go to thrift stores a lot and buy stuff just for the fabric -- that's where i got the fabric for my peacock laptop case!

i'll probably start tomorrow, just so you know. about walmart they apparently didn't think it made enough money or something... but i got the best stretchy black cotton for the hooded scarf and a pretty black and white damask pattern for other projects. i'm thinking to make a how to for a scrap peacock (i'm a little peacock obsessed.) plushie

hmm well if i manage to successfully make the scarf, i'll post a how to. whoa, new mexico is far away... but then again, so is the uk. you're lucky you can crochet, i can only sew in a mediocre fashion. i just got my sewing machine about a month ago so... yeah. but hopefully eventually i'll get better.
that sucks that you have to drive for 2 hours to get to the craft store :/ and my walmart just did the same thing!!!! it's so annoying because the other ones around my town still get to keep their, but they're far away... i wish they could've kept it or had at least a huge clearance but they shipped it all out to some other store. now i have to buy quality fabric! oh no! haha

haha yes! the next thing i'm going to try is a hooded scarf (gagaesque <3) and ill put up pic whenever i do or don't make it... haha but i'm getting polymer clay, which i've never ever used before, today and i'm going to joann fabrics so maybe creativity will hit me! so you're from the us too? awesome! i live in virginia.

god i love miss gaga. she's too fabulous. even some of the most outrageous things that she wears are to die for, i bawled my eyes out when alexander mcqueen died (he made tons of her stuff!)

Hiya Birdy. If you can't get boning locally you could try cutting thin strips of a strong plastic. Something like a bottle or a long milk container. You could glue 2 or 3 layers together to get the flexible strength. They wouldn't move too much when they are stitched in place and it works out cheaper

Don't worry Birdy, knitting is easy! Besides you can crochet and that is way harder! xx

I was the the seccond person that picked that colour of that line , stupid but i t hink not al people that are wheelies don't like to sit in a bright coloured chair, some of them like to be inconspicuous.
I like all the bright colours but that was the only bright colour.LOL

i'm 54 years. o , o i'm must still learn to behave like that.LOL
my coach is of my age and he is like me so we have a lot of fun of that. He is playing in a rockband. and does a lot of other things that isn' t commen to his age.LOL
when i was younger i had problems that i was differend but now i think i must do something with it.;-D
there are to much persons that are grey people, (i call them grey coloured because they don't like to be stand out-=S
but they can be good too, i have a friend that is like that and he is really nice ;-D and he always complains to me that i'm too outshining but i 'm only telling him you don't have too.LOL
It hasn't rain to much on here so i heard that we wouldn''t give the plants no longer water outside.
Silly all those differends and yes it is awesome to talk to a person so far away. like that and like to learn from you all about the differends i think it will help to know each other better.and less predjudiced to the other.

i have prolbems with my arms to move and my fingers, i'm working now with petroleum and i had to wash it to often out on my eyes and i was wearing glasses.LOL My neck is almost broken so that why i have those difficultys but with some creativity i come far with finding new solutions, not always the best but,,,, i think i'm not to old to learn new better solutions.LOL

i have pimped my new big yellow elektric wheelchair and it is awesome, when i'm riding outside in it everybody looks flabber gasted to me and they like it too.
i had just a new sales man on the phone my little chair is broken for more then a year, and finaly i got the messages that i can buy a new one , i had last week an other shop at my house but it was a strange visited of him, he didn't know nothing not the prize and nothing of the questions i asked
it didn't feel okay , this person was better i hope he can find the things i need and i can buy one of his chairs, you can buy some fabric and they will make the seat and the back of the chair of it.
like that.
i do it always myself but this is more fun.LOL
i like to have a good chair again it is fun to buy your own wheels.
love it. but i can only buy them when they are broken after 5 years or longer.-S Thats okay a wheelchair is very expensive and mine are always the most expensive ones.
and i 'm working on curtains of recyling materials.but i can' t share nothing so you all must wait.
but when i maked the bag of toast i will show you him but be patiencend i'm working on to much projects too.LOL
