Swap-Bot

Anyone else on swap-bot?

What's your experience of the swappers there, and the rating system? There seems to be a lot of suspitions, name calling and negativity Happy

I'm starting to think about leaving... (Once I've finished my last two swaps there!)

I was reading about the negativity and judgments about it too before I joined, but I decided to join and I haven't had any bad experiences. Of course, I never flaked on a swap. I have also been in enough swaps to be able to host one. So, I only did one so far.

Im on swap-Bot too and noticed one thing that mad eit different from other swapping groups: people dont feel the need to be nice. Since its not a personal swap you never get to really bond with your partner and that makes the rating system a little tough. I have been flaked, I have been in arguments because of rating and I have had good swaps. I still like it because I found my niche: paper and art swaps.

im on swapbot but i didnt do any swap yet... people seems so scared to be flaked they wont do any fun swap unless you made 30 before and get a perfect rating... they dont seems as nice as people in small forum.. my username is the same as here

I am on swap bot and have only done a few swaps so far and it seems okay, but I still haven't received some things from the previous swaps. I'm still trying it out! My user name is BirdyLove on there :3

Hey BirdyLove, well you know you have to rate them a 1 if they don't send, especially if they haven't messaged you about them being late. If it's been awhile, like two weeks or so then rate them as a 1, but if they send later and the item(s) meet the swap's requirements, then you can go back and change the rating.
SyntheticStars, I haven't yet gotten around to asking Cat and Tom about the group name yet, but I'm still trying to come up with something else just in case they so no.

Thanks Creativemind (: It's already been a couple weeks and I am going to go check my mail here in a bit. If it's not there they are getting a big fat 1! I tried really hard on those swaps and it's kind of upsetting that I didn't receive anything back you know?
