I run CrochetKitten.com along with my cat, Selena Kyle. I live with my husband (The Animator), our baby girl (Little Lovely) Selena, our other cat Osiris, and our dogs Aslan and Niles, in the suburbs of Washington DC. I'm a mostly-stay-at-home mom, part-time veterinary technician, and belly dancer. In my spare time (what spare time?), I like to play with my daughter, experiment with sewing projects, sharpen my “lazy gourmet” cooking skills, rescue orphaned kittens, or simply sit and crochet the day away. I learned the art of crochet from my aunt, a home economics teacher, when I was 12 years old, and my favorite projects are those that show off the stylish and whimsical side of crochet.
