I went to my first ever music festival when I was on holiday in Portugal, but it was just mainstream stuff because they're my friend's favourites. I was considering going to Finland or Germany next year for their festivals but I won't be able to afford it. I guess it'll have to wait until after I finish studying..
How are you?
You're from belgium, do you speak french or netherlands?
Xx
If I want to see them it'll cost R15000 (approximately 1400 euros) just for a plane ticket there =
My other favourites are Ensiferum, Eluveitie and Spellblast. Unfortunately no decent bands come to South Africa so I'll probably never get to see any of my favourite bands perform..
Finally someone else on the site who has the same taste in music as me! What's your favourite band/bands?
It's actually easier to do than it seems!!
As mentioned in the "You Will Need" box, the body is cut from fake fur fabric (or you could use felt or chenille or anything cuddly), the ears are felt.
The larger sized one in the picture was made from drawing round a circular side plate, the smaller one used a circle drawn from a cereal bowl.
Hope you give it a go!! (and post photos of your version )
I'm sorry if my instructions weren't very clear.
The circle i was refering to in steps 1&2 is the circle of fur fabric that makes the body.
You stitch around the circle , about 1cm in from the edge, using a straight stitch, then gently pull the ends to gather the fabric. It will curve into a cup, or bowl shape then after you stuff it, you continue to pull the threads tighter then put in a few stitches to close it up.
Hope that makes sense! If not, please let me know and i'll try explaining it a different way.
Maybe I should make another over the weekend, so i can take photos of the steps, like i intended to do in the first place
