We are a military family, now retired & living in a 150+ year old farmhouse and loving every minute of it. We have been blessed with beautiful grand children, 18 & counting!

I am a trained Social Worker & I am currently an advocate/activist working for Peace, social and economic justice, which is sorely lacking in America these days. Activism and the reality of the insanity & greed that dominates the world today can sometimes make both my head & heart feel like they are going to explode.

So.....that's when I take a time-out & channel my energy toward art, crafts, and gardening to try & make something beautiful, when society looks so ugly. It is truly what allows me keep my sanity & keep fight the good fight because, quitting is not an option.

During the spring & summer, we are usually busy with a lot fruit, vegetable, & flower gardening, which keeps me busy & keeps my heart happy. However during the cooler months, if I don't have some art or crafts project to keep busy, I start painting the walls, again. So I am really excited to find this site.
