About
When I was little, I was always told right from wrong and wrong from right. My family tried to perfectly etch sensibility and politeness into my mind with every comment, every answer, every little detail. It all had to be perfectly executed, or else It would not suffice properly, they thought. They gave me an image, when I was very young, of what I needed to live up to, and how I could do that, no questions asked, no answers given.
And you know what I did?
I completely shooed them away like unwanted flies and carried on coloring my barbie heads.
And thus, a crafter was born.
I spend most of my time creating things. I paint, sculpt, sew, stamp, bead, thread, weave, snip, draw, melt, bake, glue, rip, break, fix, carve, basically I do a little of everything, mostly jewlery pieces and paintings. I'm not completely social, I'd rather spend a good friday night watching reruns of Reno 911 and crafting than I would go to a party. People at school think I'm quite odd, I tend to wear very flashy jewlery, and my hair changes dramatically every month or so. Yeah, but honestly, I have a few great friends whose love and support is all I need, and then, glue gun in hand, I'm ready to conquer the world!
My style is what I like to call, "Hand-me-down chic." I get alot of clothes from my cousins and sometimes I even pick around my brother's wardrobe (Don't tell him ;D). I mix bright colors with darks alot of the time, and I'm very into the hippie-retro look, I have alot of graphic beatles tees and all that "Make love not war" kind of clothing. Yep, kind of weird. But sometimes, what I lack in clothing color, I make up for with my hair color, it's half-dyed bright red.
Well, to sum this up rather efficiently, I'll guess I'll just say I'm not the most normal person you'll meet. A young teen with dreams and glitter in her veins, It's no wonder I can't go a half-hour without a paintbrush in hand ;]

- commented on her comment I'm afraid Lipstick and creme eyeshadows will smudge and won't show up. Why not try some non-toxic face paint? I personally love this and am planning to post a version,I think the White face paint will pop more and the red and blue face paint will show... to Union Jack Lips 02 Sep 15:55
