I love creating! Quilting, crocheting, hand embroidery, and card making are my main passions. However, if something catches my eye I will give it a try; often discovering a technique that I can apply to a card or quilt. Color is a major influence on what attracts my attention and then texture. I spent many years as a floral designer. Those years taught me a lot about color ... how differently each of us respond to color ... and perhaps the most important lesson ... creating with colors and shapes that I don't personally care for. Some of those color pairings I was required to use have become favorites. However, my favorite color I discovered, as a little girl, in my box of crayons ... Aquamarine.
